The Story of KangaFeet
It started with a mate limping off a job site.
In 2024, KangaFeet's founders watched a close mate, a tradie on his feet 10 hours a day on concrete, come home wrecked every night. Aching heels, a lower back that never switched off, and feet that felt like they belonged to someone else by knock-off. He'd tried every $20 gel insole from the servo and the chemist. None of them lasted past smoko.
So we asked a simple question: what does nature do when it has to pound hard ground all day and never break down?
The Kangaroo Insight
The kangaroo. An animal that covers 40km a day on rock-hard ground without injury. Its hind feet are built in three layers: a soft outer pad that absorbs the hit, a dense elastic tendon network that stores and returns energy, and a structural base that holds everything in line, bound after bound.
That is the architecture we set out to build into a human insole.
From Concept to KangaTech
Working with an AHPRA-registered Australian podiatrist, we spent 18 months prototyping. Every version was wear-tested by men who actually flog their feet: tradies on concrete, warehouse crews, chefs on tiled kitchens, delivery drivers, retail and hardware blokes.
The result is KangaTech, a 3-layer comfort system: an AUSI-COOL breathable top that beats sweat and stink in closed boots, cloud-cell foam that soaks up the shock off hard floors, and a structured arch shell plus deep heel cup that hold firm at hour twelve.
Over 1,000 Australians wear-tested the final design before we sold a single pair.
The Mission
KangaFeet exists so the blokes who keep the country running don't have to write off sore feet as just part of the job.
